Industrial Wastewater Treatment · Since 1997

Heavy metals out.
Clean water back.

For nearly three decades we have helped electroplaters, refineries, mines, and construction sites turn contaminated process water into water clean enough to recycle — or discharge to municipal sewer within regulation.

Our Technologies

Two methods. One outcome.

We work with the two treatment chemistries that consistently outperform on heavy-metal contaminated water — an electrical process and a chemical one. Often we use them together.

Electrical

Powell Water E‑Cell

Electrocoagulation. Passing electrical current through contaminated water destabilizes suspended and dissolved metals, forming an oxide sludge that filters out cleanly and passes leach tests.

  • No coagulant chemicals required
  • Operating cost under $0.01 per gallon
  • Skid-mount units from 1.5 to 2,500 gpm
  • Treated sludge is non-hazardous; metals recoverable

Chemical

NAC-6 / KB-1 SME

Silica micro-encapsulation. Specialized chemistry binds heavy metals into a stable, sand-like silica matrix that strengthens over time — the opposite of conventional polymer treatments that degrade.

  • Single-step treatment, no flocculation required
  • Works on chromium, copper, lead, mercury, zinc, arsenic, uranium
  • Treated sludge can go to a regular landfill
  • Approximate disposal cost: $200/tonne vs. $1,100/tonne hazardous
