A customer reference letter from Kelowna Electroplating Products (K.E.P.) regarding their experience with the treatment system and chemistry. K.E.P. was a long-standing customer through the Kelowna era of the business.
The installation
Kelowna Electroplating Products operated a 7 cubic-foot filter press from our Eco Industries dealer line, paired with KB-1 / SME chemistry for treating their electroplating waste stream. The K.E.P. installation was one of our early reference accounts during the Kelowna era of the business.
Treated sludge from the K.E.P. installation, encapsulated in the silica matrix, is shown in our equipment documentation as the type of stable, sand-like, leach-test-passing waste that the chemistry produces.
Background context
The reference letter pre-dates our relocation to Ponoka, Alberta — the contact information on the letter reflects the Kelowna era of the business. The technical work, treatment results, and equipment performance described in the letter remain valid; only the company address has changed. The treatment chemistry (NAC-6 / KB-1) and the Eco Industries filter press dealership transferred with the move.
